You know when you see something awful and just desperately want to do something to help? Well, we’ve been watching the horrifying scenes in NSW, Australia as enormous fires ravage Alex’s home state. Everyone is affected including that most iconic Aussie animal, koalas. Already threatened by habitat loss and disease, the koala population is being decimated by this fire…and it’s not even summer yet. Koala Hospital in Port Macquarie, the leading facility for their care and rehab, continues to be inundated with injured animals & desperately needs funds so they can look after every koala who needs help.
