Baristocracy Coffee Roasters were finalists in the Newcomer of the Year award, part of the Northumberland and Tyneside heat of the North East Business Awards. The NEBA’s seek to celebrate North East business across all sectors with three heats leading to a final awards ceremony.
The Newcomer of the Year award was open to companies that have been in operation for a maximum of three years as of 31 December 2018.
Judges paid particular attention to how the companies started out, business plans, what sets them apart from their competitors, managerial and financial performance, notable achievements to date, and potential for growth.
While we didn’t win, we were so very pleased to be shortlisted and incredibly inspired by the thriving business community in the North East.
